  EXAMPLE

 The Modular IM-240ANE-HC

The IM-240ANE-HC is a modular ice maker that produces
up to 235kg of Cube Ice per 24hrs.
Uses 147g of R290 Hydrocarbon complying with Standard
   EN60335-2-24, allowable charge of 150g.

 How does the IM-240ANE-HC compare?

We have compared two models using the same ice production
but with different gases: Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC), and the
   eco-friendly HFC-free Hydrocarbon gas.

 Energy Savings Calculation HOSHIZAKI–ISSUE 5

An example calculation has been made comparing
the IM-240ANE and the HFC free IM-240ANE-HC.
ice consumption of 100kg is used for the purpose
   of comparison.

  Analysis:

The HFC free IM-240NE-HC outperforms the
   IM-240NE-HFC, demonstrating both operational
   and environmental benefits.

   Hoshizaki’s IM-240ANE-HC consumes:
   MM 8.2 kWh/100kg less energy.*
   MM 7014.28kW less energy p/a.*

MM IM-240ANE-HC uses 41.5% less energy.*
